The Methven A & P Association Winter Feed competition is for any farmer growing a winter forage crop to enter and compare the yield and quality of their crop with other crops of the same type in the District and is designed to showcase farmers different cultivation, agronomy, and growing techniques as well as seed companies new seed varieties in the ever evolving farming sector.

The competition is well supported by farmers and sponsors with between 60 and 70 crops judged over the two day event and sponsorship totaling upwards of $10,000 is generously supplied by local businesses involved in the industry.
